The importance of detail in history’s colossal
The age of the rock is the age of its fossil.
“How do we know that the fossil’s are old?”
The question annoyed him and his sleepy eyes rolled.
Etched deep in each course, repeated each term,
Filling shelves in each library the answers are firm.
We need to be certain and sure of a fact,
Science has value when science is exact.
